CAPED 2021 – “Many Rivers, One Ocean” Shinnyo-en
represents the annual confluence of our collective rivers of wisdom, innovation, and compassion. Our waters flow together as we gain in knowledge and strength and move forward with a selfless commitment to shape the future for our students. CAPED 2019 also marks the 45th Anniversary of the Association. This year we are flowing to the shores of Long Beach to learn and work together on behalf of our students.
We face many challenges today, from global politics and climate change to online colleges, pathways and transitions. CAPED continues to lead the field in innovation and experience. Conference planners made every attempt to purposefully identify topics and themes identified by you to ensure that we continue to have high quality, informative programs to address a very diverse set of interests. Our membership continues to take the lead in populating our program. We have a wonderful program planned for you to enjoy. This year’s theme is borrowed with the gracious permission of Shinnyo-en and the Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaiʻi Ceremony. We thank them for recognizing our work and we are honored to be able to collaborate with them in this fashion.
